Meet Mike Ferraro

Mike Ferraro

Project Manager

With more than 20 years of residential construction experience, Mike brings both hands-on craftsmanship and seasoned project management expertise to VanderBeken Remodel. He began his career as a laborer and worked across nearly every facet of residential construction, developing a particular talent for finish work, cabinetry, and tile. That hands-on experience gives him an experienced eye for detail and the practical knowledge to anticipate challenges and find solutions throughout a remodel.

For the past 15 years, Mike has focused on project management. At VanderBeken, he helps guide projects from the final stages of design through construction and completion, coordinating budgets, schedules, trade partners, and all the details needed to keep a project moving forward.

Just as important is Mike’s genuine interest in people. He enjoys getting to know clients, understanding what frustrates them about their current home, and learning what they hope to gain from their remodel. For Mike, the most rewarding part of his work is turning those frustrations into a home clients can enjoy and celebrate, while providing a high-quality experience along the way.

Outside of work, Mike and his wife are avid moviegoers and enjoy traveling and seeing live music. A professional drummer for nearly 20 years, Mike has a special appreciation for New Orleans and its music scene. And for something a little less conventional, he’s also interested in the paranormal and has traveled throughout Washington, California, and New Orleans exploring reportedly haunted locations.
