The History of VanderBeken Remodel

VanderBeken Remodel began as a perfect blend of passion, experience, and family tradition. Ron VanderBeken discovered his love for building while working construction jobs as a college student at Seattle Pacific University, balancing his studies with his desire to work with his hands. After years of teaching and gaining experience in custom home building, Ron decided to pursue his passion full-time in 1998, stepping into the role of project manager for a custom home builder.

Meanwhile, Jennifer VanderBeken grew up surrounded by the building industry, with both her father and grandfather as Seattle-area home builders. From job site cleanup as a child to office work in high school, Jennifer developed an intimate understanding of the craft. After a career as an elementary school teacher, Jennifer joined Ron in launching VanderBeken Remodel in 2007. Together, they combined their expertise, vision, and shared values to create a family-run design-build firm dedicated to transforming homes and enriching lives in their community.
