Meet Jen VanderBeken

Walking through a newly framed addition is familiar territory for Jennifer VanderBeken after growing up immersed in the building industry, with both her father and grandfather being Seattle area home builders. Whether it was collecting recyclable soda cans or scrap lumber around the job sites and then later in high school working in the company office, the ins and outs of the day to day, the challenges and the successes of building became well known.

After college, Jennifer spent the next several years teaching elementary school, but while taking time off to be at home with her and her husband Ron’s young children, an opportunity came about for them to start their own business. With their combined experience in building/remodeling and the desire and vision to run their very own business Ron and Jennifer had a perfect partnership.

Established in 2008, VanderBeken Remodel continues to grow while providing professional development opportunities and advancement for team members, loyal relationships with specialty trade partners, and clients with an exemplarily positive remodeling experience. Jennifer holds both a CAPS and a CGP designation and is a BIAW Certified Builder.  She is also an active member of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish County’s Remodelers Council and in 2021 was awarded the MBA’s Remodeler of the Year.

If you are up at Mount Baker, you may see Jennifer skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer with her family.
