Meet Taylor Maldonado

A Seattle Pacific University graduate, Taylor brings more than five years of kitchen and bathroom design experience to VanderBeken Remodel. Her previous experience as both a designer and project manager gives her a practical understanding of how thoughtful design and construction work together.

Taylor joined VanderBeken Remodel in 2026 and works with homeowners from the initial consultation through construction. She develops schematic drawings, guides material and fixture selections, and helps define the project scope and details before construction begins. Her goal is to make the design process feel organized and manageable while helping clients make informed decisions early, creating greater clarity around both the project and investment.

For Taylor, good design starts with understanding the people who will live in the space.

“I love learning about our clients, their hobbies, routines, and even their quirks. It gives me insight into how they really live so I can design a space that truly works for them. When I introduce an idea they hadn’t considered and see their face light up, that’s the cherry on top.”

Known for her clear communication and creative problem-solving, Taylor enjoys finding solutions that balance beauty, function, and the individuality of each client.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband, Bailey, and their dog, Olive. She loves traveling, discovering good food, reading, knitting, and baking.
